Why You Need a Will

We understand that making a Will is not something most of us like to think about but without one, you won’t have the chance to decide who inherits your wealth and property.

Without a valid and up to date Will:

  • Your worldly goods will be distributed by the state which may be to the detriment of your immediate dependents (see chart for what happens if you die Intestate i.e. without a Will).
  • Any children you have aged under 18 will have no financial arrangements in place for their upbringing and may have to be looked after by the state.
  • Any change in your circumstances (e.g. divorce, remarriage) might mean your partner or beneficiary loses out on their entitlement.

The only way to make your wishes known and carried out is to draw up a comprehensive Will and have it periodically reviewed. Contact us now to arrange a comprehensive Will review.
